Shore Excursion to the stunning coast of Cinque Terre and its most important villages

We start the day by heading towards the village of Porto Venere.  Here you can enjoy a variety of things to do and see including:

• Picturesque promenade
• The Church of St. Pietro
• Amazing panoramic views of the island of Palmaria and the Marble Mountains of Carrara
• Terracielo  
• The Church of Santa Maria Bianca
• Try some of the local foods, such as pesto, Testaroli (ligurian type of pasta) and ligurian focaccia (bread with cheese)
• Taste or purchase Sciacchetra (local dessert wine) and the local white wine of the Cinque Terre region

After Porto Venere, we will take a panoramic road that crosses villages and mountains and will arrive at the tiny and cozy village of Corniglia.  Along this road you will enjoy views of vineyards and olive yards perching on cliffs. The driver will stop for panoramic views and photo opportunities of Manarola.

Corniglia is the only village in Cinque Terre without a pier hence there are no crowds. It is the most authentic village located along the Cinque Terre.

You will have about 45 minutes to enjoy a walk through the village of Corniglia and relax at the panoramic terrace, where you can view all the villages of Cinque Terre at once! In Corniglia you can find bars and restaurants for a lunch break or a glass of wine. You can also visit the church of St. Pietro. 

Next is the village of Vernazza, which is a must for any visitor to the Cinque Terre region. You will have about 1 hour to explore the streets and churches or climb up to the Doria Castle for a breathtaking view of the coastline (only for the brave).

Vernazza is the place for street food. Enjoy fried fish or pesto and pizza. After Vernazza you will enjoy a personal drop-off at the pier.
